Our preschool programs—Little Movers and FUNdamentals—are carefully designed by early childhood specialists to support your child’s holistic development through dance, music, play, and imagination.

Little Movers
(2-3 years)
FUNdamentals
(4-5 years)
Little Movers introduces young dancers to foundational dance techniques across multiple genres, with a fun fortnightly theme. During the 30 minute lessons, parents are encouraged to leave the room to aide in building students’ resilience and work on being in the studio without Mum and Dad.
Our brand-new FUNdamentals program incorporates the foundational skills from a range of dance styles into one class. Students will spend 2-3 weeks exploring each dance style throughout the term, allowing them to build confidence and skills in a number of genres. This class allows our younger cohort of dancers to 'taste' the many facets of performing arts, equipping them to select specific styles as they progress.To change and reuse text themes, go to Site Styles.
STEP 1: Enrol Now
Click the "Begin Your Dance Journey" button on this page to complete your online enrolment form and agree to our studio policies and T's & C's. This ensures our Studio Concierge has your correct contact details and can follow up to discuss your dancer’s interests and class suitability.
STEP 2: Join Your BAND Group
After enrolling, use the BAND app link provided to join your dancer’s age group. This is our main channel for updates, events, and reminders – specific to your child’s age group. Click the “Join the Dance Edge Community” button below to join.
STEP 3: Payment & Confirmation
Once your dancer’s enrolment is confirmed, our finance team will reach out with all payment information. Keep an eye on your inbox, and check your spam folder just in case!
What is Band?
To help every family stay connected, Dance Edge uses the BAND app for important class updates, studio news, event reminders, and age-group communication. It is part of how we keep our community informed, supported, and connected.
How do I Join Band?
Joining BAND – Important Setup Instructions
1. Download the BAND app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Create your account and complete the security questions.
3. Use your dancer’s name as the profile name.
4. Use the parent’s date of birth when asked for DOB.
5. Do not use your child’s date of birth or the account will not be approved by the platform.
6. Open your Dance Edge invite link and request to join your age-group BAND.

This model has been thoughtfully developed to provide your family with simplicity, predictability, and value, and it ensures your dancer’s tuition, insurances, concerts, community events, resources, school holiday classes, and more are all bundled into one consistent fee across 52 weeks.
