FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How Do I Enrol in a Class?

All enrolments are formalised via our online enrolment form via the following link https://danceedge.com.au/enrolment

If you need help at any point, our team is here to support you. Contact us during business hours Monday–Thursday at 0499 998 049, or speak with our admin team at the studio during class times.

Do you offer Free Trials before committing to enrolling?

We don’t offer free trials because we believe in the value of what we do. Instead, we offer our 4-Week Happiness Guarantee. Enrol with peace of mind: if after 4 weeks you feel Dance Edge isn’t the right fit, you can withdraw with no 30-day notice period required and no further payments taken from your nominated account. We’re confident your dancer will love their classes, but this guarantee is here to give you reassurance.

Does my Child Have to Participate in the End of Year Show?

The End of Year Show is optional for Dance Edge students, but we highly recommend participating as these opportunities are incredibly rewarding and provide performance experiences for our young dancers. All expenses for your dancers participation in our end of year show are included in your fortnightly subscription as a compulsory inclusion. Please see our T's & C's for further information relating to these inclusions.

What is Troupe?

The Dance Edge Troupe is a unique opportunity for dedicated dancers who are ready to be challenged, inspired, and celebrated at a deeper level.

Troupe members are our studio’s performance ambassadors—representing Dance Edge at community events, competitions, and special showcases throughout the year. These dancers train in a focused, team-oriented environment that builds not only their technique, but also their confidence, resilience, and love for the stage.

This program is about more than just dance—it's about belonging. Troupe members form strong friendships, learn the value of commitment, and experience the pride that comes from working toward shared goals. It’s where dancers are truly seen for their potential, pushed to grow with support, and cherished for their individuality and contribution.

Auditions take place in Term 4, and places are limited and highly sought after. Selection is based on not just skill, but attitude, commitment, and readiness to thrive in a team. If your dancer is ready to take the next big step in their journey, Troupe may be the place where their spark becomes a spotlight.

How do I Choose a Style?

Once you’ve completed the New Student Enquiry form on our Contact Us page, our wonderfully experienced Studio Concierge will be in touch to personally guide you through the options and help you find the class that best suits your dancer’s interests, goals, and personality. At Dance Edge, we believe every child deserves to be placed in a class where they feel seen, supported, and excited to grow. Our team takes the time to understand your dancer, ensuring they start their journey feeling confident and inspired.

Do you have any second-hand shoes available?

There is a large supply of second-hand dance shoes at the studio. If students find a pair that fits, they can hold onto them until they are no longer needed, then they can be returned to the box for future students. If you have pre-loved shoes that are still in good condition, these can be handed to the front desk to be added to our collection.

How do I make payment?

At Dance Edge, all tuition is managed through a simple, secure fortnightly subscription. Payments are processed automatically via Stripe, our trusted payment platform, so you can enjoy a stress-free experience with no term invoices to worry about. Your subscription includes most program costs—such as tuition, concerts, costumes, and admin—making it easy to stay on top of everything your dancer needs to thrive. When you enrol via our online enrolment form, our finance team will be notified and a recurring invoice will be generated and sent to your inbox. If you ever need help or have questions about your account, our friendly admin team is here to support you every step of the way. At Dance Edge, we aim to make everything easy and transparent, so you can focus on what matters most: watching your child grow in confidence, joy, and self-belief.

*Please note that invoices will not be adjusted or refunded to reflect partial attendance due to family holidays, events, or other personal circumstances.
