EXPERT EDUCATORS, COMPASSIONATE MENTORS

At Dance Edge, we believe that children thrive when they are taught by educators who are not only highly qualified but deeply committed to each dancer’s personal growth. That’s why every member of our teaching faculty holds, at minimum, a Certificate III in Dance Teaching—with many progressing through to Bachelor-level qualifications in education, dance, or the performing arts.

Our teaching team isn’t just experienced—they are passionate guides who: Prioritise your child’s safety, well-being, and self-confidence, tailor learning experiences to each student’s unique strengths and needs, and foster progress through safe, developmentally informed dance instruction.

All educators at Dance Edge are: Senior First Aid certified, Keep Kids Safe in Dance certified, ensuring a trauma-informed and child-centered approach to teaching, and always committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

We are also proud to be a member of the Dance Arts Alliance, Australia’s leading national advocacy body for dance education. Our Studio Principal, Renee, is currently serving her third term on the DAA Board, a reflection of our studio’s leadership, advocacy, and unwavering commitment to raising the standard for dance education and committing to the fight for regulation of the dance education sector across the country.
